How It Works

The principle

Fat digestion requires emulsification: large fat globules must be broken into micro-droplets before lipase can work and micelles can carry fatty acids across the gut wall. Lysophospholipids are stronger emulsifiers than ordinary lecithin because their single fatty-acid tail packs tighter at the oil–water interface, forming smaller, more stable micelles at gut pH. At HLB 8–12, LPC works exactly where digestion happens — the aqueous gut environment — converting more of your added oil into absorbed energy instead of excreted waste.
