Most “alternative to X” pages are sales pages wearing a lab coat. These are not. Each one sets out what the established supplier publishes, what nobody in the category publishes, what we publish, and a protocol you can run in your own mill to settle it. Where we are not the right answer, the page says so.
Three rules we hold ourselves to on these pages: no claim of equivalence to a product whose composition is not public; no efficacy comparison we have not actually run; and every regulatory statement linked to the primary instrument, not to a summary of it.

That is a defensible commercial choice — but it means a datasheet comparison is usually a comparison of marketing language.
