VS3965 is a high-intensity blended sweetener delivering a clean, sucrose-like taste that animals accept immediately. Engineered on a neotame – sodium saccharin system with a silica flow carrier, it stays stable under conventional storage and high-temperature pelleting alike. Off-white free-flowing powder; 10 kg foil bag inner, 20/25 kg laminated bag outer; 18-month shelf life.

How It Works

The principle

Sweet receptors on the animal tongue respond to sweetness intensity and onset speed, not to sugar content. VS3965 combines a fast-onset, high-intensity sweetener system tuned to mimic the taste curve of sucrose — immediate recognition, no bitter aftertaste — triggering appetite and digestive secretion. The silica flow system keeps the low-dosage active distributed uniformly through tonnes of feed.

Regulatory note

VS3965 contains sodium saccharin (E 954(iii)). Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1727 withdrew sodium saccharin from the EU market for piglets, with a use-up period for compound feed that ran to 11 July 2026. Sodium saccharin remains listed for farmed animals in China's feed additive catalogue and is registered as a feed additive in the Philippines. Confirm the position for your species and destination market before importing — we will supply the documentation you need for that check.
