Fishmeal and meat-bone meal are the most oxidation-prone ingredients in the feed chain — high fat, high iron, often stored for months in hot, humid warehouses. Oxidation burns energy value, destroys palatability, and in extreme cases self-heats.
Premixes face a parallel problem: vitamins and fats degrade together as trace minerals catalyze oxidation. Protection has to go in at the ingredient, not just the final feed.
